To pick up, take up one by one, as എരുന്തു MR., fire-wood, stones for a sling, to glean fruits, അരിമണി Bhr. തൂകുന്പോള്‍ പെറുക്കേണ്ട prov. don't spare. വിരകിട്ടു തീയും പെറുക്കി അങ്ങതില്‍ വറട്ടി KR. (al. പെരുക്കി.) — met. അവന്‍ പെറുക്കിപ്പോയി has become a gleaner, beggar. viḍuγa T. M. (C. biḍu, Te. വി. & ഊ., Tu. budu). 1. v. n.
