naččam (നച്ചു C. Te. T. to aim at, desire; see നഞ്ചു) & നച്ചക്കുഴല്‍, നച്ചക്കോല്‍ (ഊതിപ്പിടിക്ക) A tube to shoot birds or fishes with clay pellets, arrows, etc. (T. നച്ചുക്കോല്‍). നച്ചത്തിങ്കായി a kind of vegetable poison for fish, (നഞ്ചു) Rh. നച്ചു (T. poisonous, fr. നഞ്ചു) poison — നച്ചെ ണ്ണ Pay; met. നച്ചായിനാന്‍ അരികുലത്തി ന്നു RC. നച്ചെലി So. Palg. = നുന്പു. 4. a paddle, So. നന്പോലന്‍ N. pr. m., ന'ന്‍റെ അമ്മ കിണ ററില്‍ പോയ പോലേ prov.

navira (നവിരി V1. & നകര, s. ഷ ഷ്ടികം) A rice that ripens within 2 or 3 months അറുപതാം വിത്തു, തൊണ്ണൂറാം വിത്തു; prh. from നവതി? — kinds കറുത്ത, വെളുത്ത നവര. q. v. നവരക്കിഴി No. B. a yearly med. treatment of rich people for 10-12 days with the boiled rice of the same, either tied up in a cloth = നവരക്കിഴി ഉഴിയുക (നവരക്കിഴിയും ധാര യും), or applied without it = നവര വെച്ചു തേക്ക.
