toṇḍụ 1. T. So. A log of wood = തട്ട. 2. the fibrous husk of a cocoanut, the rind of a pomegranate, ചുരങ്ങത്തൊണ്ടു etc.; an empty cocoanut കഴന്പെടുത്താല്‍ തൊ.; തൊണ്ടും പേടും (തേങ്ങത്തൊണ്ടു). പോയെങ്കില്‍ ൧ഠഠഠ തൊണ്ടു prov. (So. തൊണ്ണന്‍) — a cup made of a cocoanut-shell. 3. So. a passage between two mud-walls. (=തോടു). തൊണ്ടെകല്പു N. pr. The northern boundary of Tuḷu, തൊ. പിടിച്ചു തോവാളക്കട്ടിളയോ ളം പരശുരാമന്‍റെ നാടു, തൊണ്ടെകല്പു പി ടിച്ചു കാഞ്ഞിരോട്ടു കടവോളം തുളുനാടു KU.
