taṇḍụ Tdbh., ദണ്ഡം (but also തടി, തട്ടു) 1. (=മുതുകെല്ലു). തണ്ടേററം (3) a ceremony, when a chieftain succeeds to the headship of the family. തണ്ടേല്‍ see തണ്ടല്‍.
