(VN. fr. നിടു) Length. നീ ടാര്‍ന്ന long, (also നീടാര്‍മാടങ്ങള്‍ lofty houses. നീടാരിലങ്കമന്നവന്‍ RC.); നീടുററ കൈ Bhr. a long arm; നീടെഴും വിലത്തൂടേ Bhr. through the long cave. നീടുക = നീളുക to be long; നീടിയ (po.). a. v. നീട്ടുക T. To lengthen നീട്ടിവാ യിക്ക (opp. കുറുക്കിവായിക്ക) to drawl in singing. നീട്ടിപ്പറക to be verbose, speak slowly. 2. to stretch out ഇരിക്കുമ്മുന്പേ കാല്‍ നീട്ടൊല്ല prov. 3. to allow to grow കേശം Bhg., കുടുമ, തലമുടി, നഖം etc. 4. to delay. നീട്ടിക്കുറിച്ചു put off a feast, നീട്ടിവെക്ക. 5. to hold out, give. നീട്ടിക്കൊടുക്ക to give into the hand; to point out; instigate. നീട്ടിയിടുക to thrust at കുന്തം കൊണ്ട് അവനെ TR.
