kuḍi T. M. Drinking, water drunk after meals (fr. കുടുകുടു); soaking. കടിക്ക 1.T. M. C. Te. (& Te. ക്രൊലു) to drink; different modes of drinking: അണ്ണാന്നു, ഇറ ന്പി, മോന്തിക്കു.— കുടിച്ചു ചത്തു, വെള്ളം കുടി ച്ചു മരിച്ചു to be drowned. 2. (C. pānam S. (പാ.) 1. Drinking. പാ ചെ യ്ക to drink. പാനനിദ്രകള്‍കൊണ്ടു വീണുറ ങ്ങുന്നു KR.; also met. അധരപാനം ചെയ്തു Bhr. kissed. സുന്ദരരൂപം കണ്ണുകൊണ്ടു പാ. Palg.); to make an effort, as in travail or when easing nature (esp. straining in അരിശസ്സ്, dysentery).— see മിക്കുക.
