čakkara (Tdbh.; ശര്‍ക്കര) Jaggory, palm-sugar. ച'ക്ക് അകവും പുറവും ഒക്കും, ആനെ ക്കു ച. പന prov. (ആനച്ചക്കര a creeper eaten by elephants). Hence: ചക്കരക്കത്തിക്കാരന്‍ see കത്തി. ചക്കരക്കള്ളു toddy for making sugar (called ചക്കരക്കട്ടി). ചക്കരക്കള്ളന്‍ a red ant. ചക്കരപ്പാവു B. raw sugar, syrup; the inspissated palmyra-juice. Palg. ചക്കരപ്പൊട്ടിക്ക = ഞെട്ടാഞെടുങ്ങു.

pāḍam (S. & T. in Uriya. an open level tract). 1. Range, esp. of riccfields പുഞ്ചപ്പാ. pāvụ & പാ T. M. (C. hāsu, Te. pēka fr. പാകുക ). 1.
