kuḍar, & കുടല്‍ T. M. 1. Bowels കു. ഇരന്പുക, ഇരെക്ക, മറിയുക etc. കുടല്‍ വലി യോന്നു ചക്ക prov. Often കുടല്‍മാല f. i. കുടര്‍ മാല തുറിക്കയും Bhr. of wounded. ചീര്‍ത്തകുടല്മാ ലകള്‍ എടുത്തണിഞ്ഞു RS. in battle. 2. Placenta, prolapsus ani etc. കുടലന്‍ m., — ലി fem. = വയറന്‍ potbellied; അവള്‍ കു'ലി vu. കുടലേററം spasms in the bowels. കുടല്‍ ചുരുക്കി a med. plant. കുടല്‍തിര = കുടല്‍മാല f. i. കുടല്‍തിരകളുടെ കു ണ്ടത്തില്‍ a Marmam MM. കുടര്‍വാതം V2. colic.

koṇǰam T. C. Te. A little അറിഞ്ഞ വ കൊഞ്ചമായി പറയുന്നേന്‍ VCh. (= ചുരുക്കി). കഞ്ചിശോറു കൊഞ്ചം എങ്കില്‍ കാശുകൊടെന്‍റെ മ്മൈ Kor̀attipāṭṭu.

(shrivel = ചുരുക്കു, or Tdbh. ശുഷ്കം) Dry, as ചുക്കടക്ക, ചുക്കങ്കായി of plantains. കുറുക്കുല നെയ്യില്‍ വറുത്ത ചുക്കാ ന്പോള്‍ വാങ്ങി MM. ചുക്കാക വെന്തു a med. 2.dried ginger. ചുക്കുവെള്ളം കുടിച്ചു med. prov. ഭാരം ചക്കെക്കു പലം ചുക്കു prov. (in praise of dry ginger). S. what is worthless. Hence: ചുക്കുക, ക്കി to grow dry, shrivel (also ചുങ്ങുക).

(Voc. of fem.). ഇകലില്‍ ചുവ പി റന്തു, ഇകലില്‍ ചുവ ഉണ്ടാം, ഇകല്‍ കിടക്കില്‍ ചുവ ചുരുക്കം RC. 2. unpleasant taste, as in fever; slight after-effects of former troubles, അല്പം ഒരു ചുവ ശേഷിപ്പുണ്ടു; അവസ്ഥകളുടേ ഓരോ ചുഴ കൊണ്ടു TR. ചുവക്കേടു V1. bad taste (വെള്ളത്തിന്നു ചു. ഉണ്ടു etc.) ചുവെക്ക 1. To taste = രസമറിക Nid. 2. to produce a taste പച്ചവെള്ളം ചുവെക്ക Nid. to taste like water. 3. to remain as after-taste. 4. = ചുവര്‍ക്ക V1. (ചവര്‍ & തുവര്‍). VN. ചുവപ്പു, vu. ചുഴപ്പു = ചവര്‍പ്പു.
