uččarikka S. (ചര്) ഉച്ചാരണം To utter, pronounce, as മന്ത്രം ഉച്ചരിയാതെ Bhr. So. വേദോച്ചാരണം, നാമോ, etc. ഉച്ചാരം excrements (po.) ഉച്ചാരന്, ഉച്ചാരല്, ഉച്ചാല് Festival in honour of Bhūdēvi's menstruation on Maγara Sankrānti (end of Jan.); similar to the februations of the Romans. ഉ. വരഞ്ഞു നില്ക്ക to keep its 3 days of rest by abstinence from all work except hunting. ഉച്ചാല് തൊട്ട വിത്തു പോയി superst. (curse resting on work done during these days) ഉച്ചാര പിററന്നാള് അനുഭവം എടുക്ക MR. യാ തൊരു ഉച്ചാരല്ക്കു പണം തരുന്പോള് doc. (as on Quarter days).
