kōmaṭṭi 5. A tribe of Lingaite merchants, f. i. in Wayanāḍu (they are said to avoid throughout pronouncing the word ഇല്ല) ചെട്ടികള്‍ കോമട്ടികള്‍ Nal 3. ചെട്ടി കോമുട്ടി കള്‍ (sic.) വന്നു VetC.

kāṭṭuγa T. M. (= കാണ്‍ത്തുക) v. a. 1. To make to see, show, point out; with double Acc. ഞങ്ങളെ പെരുവഴി കാട്ടേണം AR. also Dat. of pers.; കാട്ടിക്കൊടുക്ക to show how to do a thing, betray, വെള്ളം കാ. to water cattle, ധൂപം കാ.. to burn incense, പുക കാ.. to smoke fruits to ripen them. 2. to exhibit, commit, perform കു റഞ്ഞോരവിവേകം കാട്ടി AR. was guilty of some folly. കപടം കാ. Mud. played false. മര്യാ ദയല്ലാത്ത കാര്യം കാ. TR. acted openly against the law. ഇങ്ങനേ കാട്ടി എങ്കില്‍ KU. behave. വെടി കാണിക്കയും വന്പു പറകയും കാട്ടുന്നു TR. = ചെയ്യുന്നു. കാട്ടില്‍, കാട്ടിലും Cond.
