čaraḍụ (S. സരം, സരില്‍) T. M. čākki pl. hon. ചാക്കിയാര്‍, ചാകൃാര്‍ N. pr. A caste of half-brahmans, who sing & play before Gods & Brahmans. čuḷuǰuḷē (= ചുടു) With sharp pain ചു. കുത്തുന്നു V1. ചുളചുളുക്ക, ത്തു to feel hot, irritated by the touch of nettles, leprosy; piercing pain.

čilekka T. M. (C. സെ —, C. Te. ഗി —) To rattle, tinkle, chatter, chirp. ഏതു പക്ഷി യും ചിലെച്ചാല്‍ അര്‍ത്ഥം അറിയാം Arb.; to bark. ചിലെക്കേണ്ടാ (abuse) = മിണ്ടേണ്ടാ. — No. to have a cracked sound (ചിലെക്കുന്ന പാത്രം); to crash as falling fruits; to read with a sound. ചിലുചിലേ with tinkling sound. čāδaγam S. Cuculus or Coccystes melanoleucus = വേഴാന്പല്‍. (ചാ'ങ്ങള്‍ ദീനങ്ങളാ യി CG. in the hot season). ചാതകങ്ങളെ ഉണ്ടോ മേഘങ്ങള്‍ സേവിക്കുന്നു Bhg.

čēṇṇōl Palg. (ചെവ്കോല്‍) = കോ രപ്പുല്ലു. The grass from which Palghsut-mats are woven (വെള്ളപ്പായും മന്ത്രിപ്പായും).

čumma T. So. Palg. (C. സു —, Te. ജൂവ്വ) Without cause or emotion, gratis, quietly (= വെറുതേ).
