čuṭṭi T. M. (ചുട്ടു) 1. Mark or jewel on the forehead. ചു. കുത്തുക to paint the face, So. rather ചൊട്ടി. 2. (C. Tu. സുട്ടി) smartness, quickness വാക്കിന്നു നല്ല ചുട്ടി ഉണ്ടു. ചുട്ടു T. aM. pointing out = ചൂണ്ടുക; natural mark on the skin f.i. of cows, children പാണ്ടുകള്‍ ചുട്ടുകളും Bhg 10.

čir̀akka T. aM. To be glorious (ശ്രീ ?). ചിറപ്പു കഴിക്ക So. a feast of Gaṇēša or Durga.

čima aM. (Tu. സിമ) = ഇമ Eyelash. ചി മ മിഴിക്ക V1. to twinkle, to wink with the eyes; also ചിമിഴിക്ക V1. ചിമിട്ടുക (T. C. Te. aM. to wink) 1. to threaten V1. 2. So. to be expeditious. ചിമിട്ടു 1. So. frightening; dexterity. 2. No. young, little. — ചിമിട്ടന്‍ a child.

čēḷa Gills (So. ചെകിള, loc. ചെളുക്ക). ചേളാക്കോര No. a fish; see കോര.
