TP. etc. Hence: ചൊട്ടുകത്തി Mpl. = ചൊട്ടവാള്‍. ചൊട്ടുക (C. സൊണ, T. So. to drop, rain) 1. To rap with the knuckles, knock with the finger, chiefly on the head; also ചൊട്ടി നോ ക്ക No. = കൊട്ടിനോക്ക. 2. to be disappointed. വ യറുചൊട്ടിപ്പോയി abortus. കാര്യം ചൊ. proved abortive. തമ്മില്‍ ചൊ. they fell out.
