(in ഹോമം). ധൂപക്കാല്‍, — ക്കുററി (Nasr.) a censer. ധൂപനം 1. offering incense. 2. = ധൂപം, ധൂപവര്‍ഗ്ഗം. denV. ധൂപിക്ക to burn incense, ദീപിച്ചുള്ള ധൂപം വെച്ചു ധൂപിച്ചാള്‍ അകന്തന്നില്‍ എങ്ങും CG.; ഗന്ധപുഷ്പങ്ങള്‍ ധൂ. dhvamsam S. Falling to pieces. ഹിം സകൊണ്ട് ഒരു പദത്തെ ലഭിച്ചാല്‍ ധ്വം. ഉണ്ട തിന്നു ChVr. disappearing (= ക്ഷയം); hence: കുലധ്വംസകന്‍ destroyer of his family KR. ധ്വംസനം (act.) destroying; destruction പാ പധ്വം'മായ യാഗം Bhr.; മാരധ്വം'ബ്രഹ്മാദി കള്‍ക്കും നീക്കാമല്ല Bhr. the troublesome power of Kāma. ധ്വം. ചെയ്തുപോക money etc, to be lost. denV., f. i. ധര്‍മ്മത്തെ ധ്വംസിക്കുന്ന പുത്രന്‍ PT. a law-breaker. part. ധ്വസ്തം fallen, gone ധ്വസ്തതമോബലം Bhg.

dhāršṭyam S. (ധൃഷ്ടം, Tdbh. ധാട്യം) 1. Boldness, impudence ധാ. തുട൪ന്നാല്‍ അന ൪ത്ഥം വരും ദൃഢം SiPu.; ധാ. പെരുത്തുള്ള ഗോ പാലകാമിനി PT.; ധാ. എത്രയും പാരം ഉണ്ടു നാരികള്‍ക്കു Bhr.; ധാ'മോടരുതിതെന്നാഖ്യാനം ചെയു Bhr. 2. sham, pretence ധാ'മല്ല ഞാന്‍ ചൊന്നതു കേളക്ക നീ KR. ധാ൪ഷ്ട്യക്കാരന്‍ impudent; a counterfeit.
