vaṇikkụ S. (vaniǰ fr. പണി Ved. merchant). A trader ഇത്തരം വര്‍ക്കിന്‍റെ വാ ക്കു Nal.; pl. വണിക്കുകള്‍ Nal.; & വണിജന്മാര്‍ KR. hence; വാണിജ്യം. വണ്ടര്‍, see ബ —. വണ്ടറ്, വണ്ട്ര Palg. vu. varaṇam S. (വൃ). 1. Choosing, f.i. a princess her bridegroom വ. ചെയ്ക നീ Nal. വ. ചെയ്കയേക്കാട്ടില്‍ മരണം നല്ലു CC. rather than marry. 2. covering, screening. ഗിരി പ്രജപുരിവ'ത്തിന്നുടെ പുറത്തു രാത്രിയില്‍ ഇരു ന്നാര്‍ KR. wall.

vēr 5. (വെരു C. Te. stretching out, √ വിര്‍). 1. A root വേ. കിഴിഞ്ഞു prov. (& ഇറങ്ങുക). താഴോട്ടു പോയ വേ. the tap-root. വടക്കോട്ടു പോയ വേ.
