šubham S. (ശുഭ് to shine). 1. Splendid. 2. fine, auspicious, good ഏററവും ശുഭം, a promising omen, ശുഭലഗ്നം, ദിനം etc. — ശുഭ കര്‍മ്മം a holy action. — ശുഭവാക്കു kind salutation. — ശുഭഗതി bliss. ശുഭദം KU. auspicious. ശുഭപ്പെടുക to be mended, perfected, prosper. ശു'ട്ടു വന്നു TR. turned out well. ശുഭാത്മികേ Voc. f. highly favored, Chintar. ശുഭാശുഭം good & evil മാനുഷര്‍ ചെ്യയും ശു'ഭ കര്‍മ്മങ്ങള്‍ UR. ഇങ്ങോട്ടു ചോദിച്ചില്ല എന്നാ ലും ശു. അങ്ങോട്ടു പറഞ്ഞു PT. gave advice (= ഗുണദോഷം). രോഗിയുടെ ശു'ങ്ങളെ പ റക by astrological prognostication. ശുഭ്രം S. white, bright. — ശുഭ്രാംശു the moon. ശുംഭനായി നിന്നുള്ളൊരുന്പര്‍കോന്‍ CG. shining.

šārdūlam S. 1. A tiger, ശാ'ലപോത ങ്ങള്‍ Mud. tiger's cubs. — ശാ'ലചൂര്‍ണ്ണം a powder against ഗുന്മം a med. 2. pre-eminent as രാജശാ.

šēšam S. (ശിഷ്). 1.
