T. കരുനിലം barren soil). 4. = ചാല്‍ cleft or rivulet in the same: മലങ്കരു, മഴങ്കരു MC. 5. a weapon (കരു) ഞേങ്ങോല്‍കരിയും എടുത്തു പിടിച്ചു കര ത്തില്‍ CrArj. III.

čavar̀ụ (& ചവര്‍ q.v.) 1. Green leaves & rubbish used as manure (= തുപ്പു). ചപ്പും ച വറും തിന്നു കഴികയില്ല cannot live upon nothing.
