čaṇḍi 1. (T. ചണ്ടു q. v., C. ചരടു leavings) Sediments, husk, pepper amenta, dry leaves.— ച'യും പൊടിയും prov. sweepings. 2. (Tu. wet) നീര്‍ചണ്ടി = കണ്ടി 5. Vallisneria octandra; the green covering of tanks (also ചമ്മി). 3. C. T. M.
