čoriyuγa T.M. (C. സു — to empty, pour out, ജൂ — to trickle, Te. C. കു — to rain) 1. v. n. To flow down, pour, shower (as മഴ, അസ്ത്രം, സ്രാവം). കോരിച്ചൊരിയുന്ന മാരി, മാരി ചൊരിയുന്നു CG. ചൊരിഞ്ഞ കണ്ണീരോടും Bhr. ചൊരിയച്ചോര (huntg.) blood flowing richly. 2. v. a. to pour out, to shoot corn etc. out of a sack; മേഘങ്ങള്‍ ചോര ചൊരിഞ്ഞു, കൂരന്പു കോരി ചൊരിഞ്ഞു തുടങ്ങിനാന്‍ Bhr. ഞങ്ങള്‍ തീച്ചൊരിഞ്ഞു CG. പായില്‍ ഉറുപ്പിക ചൊരി ഞ്ഞെണ്ണി (jud.) ആ മുതല്‍ ഒരു മുണ്ടില്‍ ചൊരി ഞ്ഞു MR. നിലത്തു ചൊ. — ശ്രവണാന്തരേ കുംഭ സഹസ്രജലം ചൊരിഞ്ഞാര്‍ AR. (to awaken Kumbhakarṇa). Hence: ചൊരികലമൂണി B. a miser, as licking a leeking vessel. VN. ചൊരിച്ചല്‍ as രുധിരം ചൊ. menses of women, bloody flux V1. ചൊരിനെല്ലു rice poured out & measured by guess; conical measurement CS. ചൊരിമഴ heavy shower. CV. ചൊരിയിക്ക to get the rice heaped up, etc. ചൊരുന്നല്‍ = ചുരന്നല്‍ udder.

čandu 1. Tdbh. സന്ധു; Joint, cleft. 2. N. pr. ചന്തുവിന്നില്ല ഗുരുത്വം ചാമുണ്ടിക്കും ഇല്ല ഗു. prov. also ചന്തന്‍ (Tdbh. ചന്ദ്രന്‍).

čikkiṇi Young, small, said of girls (C. Te. ചിക്ക = ചിറു).

čālikka = ചാരിക്ക 1. To mix ingredients in fluids തേനില്‍ ചാലിച്ചു സേവിച്ചു. 2. to moisten grain for ചേററുവിത.

T. M. (C. Te. Tu. സരി, ജരുഗു) v. a. 1. To bend, to make to lean sidewards കാ ററു ചന്പചരിക്കും vu., ചരിച്ചിട്ടും കടക്കുന്നില്ല; ചരിച്ചു നോക്കി peeped. 2. to lower a vessel, to pour അസാരം ചരിക്കേണം give me to drink (also ചെ —).
