ōḍu 1. (ഒടിയുക) Potsherd, tile, കൊക്കോടു small flat tile. ചീപ്പോടു id. without a point; മാടോടു, പാത്തിയോടു hollow tile. തലയോടു skull. ഓട്ഇടുക, മെയുക to tile. ഓടുകഴിക്ക No. = തേങ്ങ ചിരട്ടയില്‍നിന്നു അടര്‍ത്തുക. 2. shell ആമയോടു; rind of fruits പുഴുങ്ങി ഓടു കഴിച്ചു കളക a med. 3. M. beilmetal (2½ parts zinc, 10 copper) ഓടുവാര്‍ക്ക etc. വെള്ളോടു, കാരോടു. ഓടുരുക്കിയമൂശാരിയെപോലെ prov. 4. T.M.
