avasānams. (& po. അവസായം) End, conclusion. അവസാനകാലം death. den V. അവസാനിക്ക v. n. 1. to end, cease. അവകാശം അ'ച്ചു jud. the claim ceased. — also 2. v. a. കക്ഷിക്കാര്‍ക്കു കാര്യം അ'പ്പാന്‍ കഴിയും MR. more commonly അവസാനിപ്പി ക്ക to bring to conclusion, f. i. സത്യത്തിന്മേല്‍ അ. MR. decide the case by an oath.

avaǰńa S. Contempt. അവജ്ഞാതം despised. സ്വല്പരും അവജ്ഞേയ ന്മാരല്ല Bhr. not despicable.

abaγaršam S. Detraction, deterioration. den V. — ര്‍ഷിക്ക to scorn V1.

appo/?/utu (po.) & അപ്പോള്‍ T. M. (പൊഴ്) That time, then. അപ്പപ്പോള്‍ at times. ഗുണമായാല്‍ അപ്പോഴേ കൂട്ടി അയക്കാം TR. as soon as he is better. അപ്പൊഴേ തുടങ്ങേണം Anj. at once, opp. നാളെ.

adhīnam (അധി) 1. Subject to, dependant = വശം. ഞാന്‍ അവള്‍ക്ക് അധീന നായി KR. കാര്യങ്ങള് എല്ലാം രാജൃചിന്തയും രാഘവാധീനമാക്കി KR. committed all to him. സ്വാധീനം opp. പരാധീനം, അന്യാധീനമാ ക്ക alienate. 2. power, charge ദൈവാധീന ത്താല്‍ Som. (= ദൈവവശാല്‍) ംരംശ്വരാധീനം കൊണ്ടു KR. by destiny. അന്യന്മാരുടെ അധീ നത്തിലാക Arb. (or സ്വാധീനത്തില്‍). അധീനത dependence.
