kār̀uγa T. M. 1. To grow stale, rancid (= കര്‍, കന) കാറുന്നതു ചെന്നാല്‍ നെ ഞ്ഞു കലിക്കും; നെയ്യുടെ കാറല്‍ (VN.) കഴിക്ക etc. തല കാറുക a kind of പുകച്ചല്‍. 2. to have a distaste, to retch, spit. = കാരുക. കാറി തു പ്പുക VyM. to hawk phlegm, to spit at one. തൊണ്ട കാ. asthmatic respiration.

kāmam S. (കമ്) Desire, കിട്ടാത്തതില്‍ കാ. ആധിക്കു മൂലം Ch Vr. love; personified: കാമന്‍ Amor, or കാമദേവന്‍. പകല്‍ കൂടി കാ മം അനുഭവിക്ക KR. to spend even the day in pleasure. In comp. ഗ്രാമകാമന്‍, വനകാമന്‍ etc. Bhr. liking to stay at home, to rove in the forest.
