Hence: കര്‍ണ്ണജപന്‍ whisperer, calumniator & കര്‍ണ്ണേജപര്‍ Ch Vr. whisperers, sycophants. ക' ന്മാര്‍ക്കു ചിത്തം കൊടുക്കോല Si Pu. ക'ന്മാര്‍ ഉരെ ക്കുന്ന വാക്കിന്നു കര്‍ണ്ണം കൊടുക്കയില്ല Nal. കര്‍ണ്ണധാരന്‍ (2) helmsman. കര്‍ണ്ണന്‍ N. pr. prince of Anga, half-brother of the Pāndavas, proverbial for munificence & love of praise ക. പെട്ടാല്‍ പടയില്ല prov. കര്‍ണ്ണമലം = ചെവികാഷ്ഠം ear-wax. കര്‍ണ്ണമോടി = ചാമുണ്ഡി N. pr. കര്‍ണ്ണരോഗം Nid. ear-disease. കര്‍ണ്ണവള്ളി Nid. = സ്രോതസ്സ് cochlea. കര്‍ണ്ണവേധം perforation of the ears, one of the sufferings of childhood VCh. കര്‍ണ്ണശൂല 1. earache കര്‍ണ്ണശൂലാഭംഗുരുവചനം കേട്ടു AR. 2. pain at hearing bad news, etc. കര്‍ണ്ണാമൃതം a feast to the ears.
