kambụ T. M. 1. (= കണ്പു, comp. കണു) Knot, joint of reeds, bamboo കന്പില്ലാത കായല്‍ VyM. കരിന്പിന്നു ക. ദോഷം prov. ക. തട്ടിക്ക ളക to plane the outside of a bamboo or perforate its cells. ക. പൊട്ടും ഇളമുളയെപ്പോ ലെ KumK. 2. (T. കപ്പി, = കണ്ണു ?) grain half ground, residue of pounded rice, നുച്ചു, നുറു ക്കരി. 3. rod, stick = കന്പ 2. Hence: കന്പരി Holcus spicatus. കന്പുകുലുക്കി = കുപ്പമേനി.
