(C. കീരു to squeak) പാന്പിനെ കീരി മു റിക്കുന്പോലെ TP. കീരിയെ കണ്ട പാന്പുപോ ലെ, കീരിയും മൂര്‍ഖനും പോലെ സ്നേഹം prov. — Kinds ചെങ്കീരി (see കീരിക്കണ്‍) which is also applied to ചെന്പോത്തു, മലങ്കീരി larger. കീരിക്കണ്‍ the red eye of the mungoose കീ. എന്നപോലെ ചുവന്നു Nid. ചെങ്കീരിക്കണ്ണു eyes as of an opium smoker. കീരിക്കിഴങ്ങു the ichneumon plant, perh. Ophiorrhiza Mungusa നകുലേഷ്ട S. കീരിപ്പല്ലു a small tooth (loc.) കീരിപ്പാന്പു B. worm bred in the body.

kaṭṭa T. M. (C. Te. ഗഡ്ഡ fr. ഗഡു stout, thick). 1. Lump, mass, ചോരക്കട്ട coagulated blood. കട്ടവെക്ക, പിടിക്ക to concrete as തയിര്‍ etc. തീക്കട്ടകഴുകിയാല്‍ കരിക്കട്ട prov. 2. = മ ണ്‍കട്ട clod, sod. ഉരുട്ടുക ക., പെട്ടിക്ക. (for building). 3. clog, കട്ടച്ചെരിപ്പു Palg. = മെതിയടി. Hence: കട്ടക്കാര a thorny plant. കട്ടക്കാണം 1. the right of breaking the ground = തൂശിക്കാണം, കൊഴു അവകാശം. 2. a tenure of ricefields unfavorable to the cultivator, hence called കഷ്ടക്കാണം. കട്ടക്കിടാവു newborn infant തന്‍ ക. മായി തുഷ്ട യായ്നിന്നാള്‍ CG. അരയന്നക്ക. പോലെ RS.
