koyil 1. (No. = കോയില്‍) The call of slaves to their masters. മാപ്പിളളക്കൊയില്‍, പണിക്കര്‍ കൊ., പടക്കൊയില്‍ Nāyer, പര ക്കൊയില്‍ Paravan. 2. (Cal.) the hire of a fruit gatherer, ചരക്കുകളില്‍ കൊത്തും കൊയി ലും കഴിച്ചു TR. (say 20 cocoanuts for mounting 100 trees, also called കൊയ്യത്തേങ്ങാ). കൊയിലേററക്കാരന്‍ the person entrusted with the plucking of fruits. കൊയില്‍മേനി W. the number or succession of crops or cuttings.

kuǹǹi T. M. (S. ഗുഞ്ജ) 1.
