čēḍaǹ S. (prh. fr. ചെവിടു or ചേടു T.) Servant, also ചേടകന്മാരും ചേടീവൃന്ദവും Si Pu. ചേടി fem. = ദാസി; താനും തന്‍ ചേടിമാരും CG. — ചേടികാഗേഹങ്ങളും PT.; also ചേടി ച്ചി = വെള്ളാട്ടി V1.
