čeγiḍụ & ചെവിടു The ear. ചെ. കടയും a med. ചെകിടടയുമടവലറി Bhr. so as to stun all ears. ചെകിടു പടയലറി Bhr. the same. കൈകൊണ്ടു ചെകിട്ടത്തു രണ്ടടിച്ചു MR. slap in the face, on the cheek. ചെകിട്ടി ലാക്ക So. to whisper into one's ears. ചെകിടന്‍ m. (f. — ടി) deaf see ചെവിടന്‍. ചെകിടിപ്പു stupefaction. B.

čuḍala T. M. (ചുടു) 1. čuṇḍu T. M. (T. ചുട്ടു = ചൂണ്ടു) What points (C. Te. ചുഞ്ചു) 1. A short beak or bill (the long bill is: കൊക്കു). പൈങ്കിളിച്ചുണ്ടോടു സംഗത്തെ കോലുന്ന നാസിക CG. മരാമരം ചു ണ്ടും കടിച്ചു പൊരിച്ചാന്‍ KR. 2. lips (= ചി റി) ചുണ്ടിന്മേല്‍ വാളൂന്നി നിന്നുകൊള്‍ TP. കോ മളച്ചുണ്ടു പിളുക്കും CG. (in asking the mother for food). ചുണ്ടത്തു പറക to lisp, mutter — snout V1. വഞ്ചിയുടെ ചു. the peak of a boat V1. the point of a sickle, etc. ചുണ്ടന്‍ 1. pointed; pickaxe. 2. blubber-lipped V1.; fem. ചുണ്ടത്തി. ചുണ്ടന്‍വിരല്‍, ചുണ്ടോന്നി (a med. ചുണ്ടൂന്നി) the forefinger (T. ചുട്ടുവിരല്‍), ചുണ്ടോന്‍റെ വിരല്‍ V1. ചുണ്ടി 1. a small bird. 2. = ശുണ്ഠി dry ginger, ചു. പറക to quarrel. So. ചുണ്ടുവില്ലു V1. (& ചൂ —) a crossbow. ചുണ്ടെലി a mouse (C. Te. ചുഞ്ചു); muskrat, D. ചത്തവനെ ജീവിപ്പിപ്പാന്‍ ചു. യിന്‍ മീതേ ഒര്‍ ഔഷധവും ഇല്ല Tantr.

čōra (T. ചോരി fr. ചോരുക; or ചെവ് ?) Blood, ചോരെയും ചലവും prov.; (see അണിയു ക); ചോരയോടേ എടുത്തു KumK. a newborn babe, unwashed. ഉടുപ്പുകളില്‍ നിറെച്ച് ആയ ചോര കണ്ടു, ചോ. കഴുകി കളഞ്ഞു; ചോരയും പൊട്ടിച്ചു TR. elicited blood by the blow. തിരു ക്കണ്ണും ചോരകലങ്ങുന്നു TP. is wroth. ചോ. ഒലി ക്ക to bleed; as v. a. to bleed ചോ. എടുക്ക, കളക, കുത്തുക, കൊത്തുക V1. കാലിന്മേല്‍കൊ ത്തി ചോര നീക്കി Nid.; കൊത്തിച്ചു ചോരകളക to be bled. ചോരയും പെയ്യുന്നിതു AR. a bad omen. പന്നിക്കു ചോര മൂന്നു (huntg.) three kinds of wounds: മുറിയച്ചോ., വഴിയച്ചോ., ചൊരി യച്ചോ. Hence: ചോരകലങ്ങുക to be blood-shot, തിരു ക്കണ്ണു ചോ'ങ്ങി TP. ചോരക്കട്ട clotted blood, മുഖങ്ങളില്‍നിന്നു ചോ. ചിന്നിയും PT. ചോരക്കണ്ടി No. the red kind of കണ്ടിക്കിഴങ്ങു. ചോരക്കിളാര്‍പ്പു No. (കിളാര്‍പ്പു) traces of blood; hale & hardy or youthful appearance. ചോരകുമളം(കുമള) No., — ഉന്മദം pugnacity. ചോരക്കുഞ്ഞു, — പ്പിള്ള, — പൈതല്‍ = കട്ടക്കിടാ വു a newborn babe. ചോരക്കെട്ടു suppressed lochia. ചോരത്തല a new shoot of a vine. ചോരത്തിളപ്പു luxuriancy, lewdness. ചോരനീര്‍ flowing blood തള്ളി മുറിച്ചു ചോ. പ്പെടുത്തുകയും ചെയ്തു TR. drew blood from him. ചോരപ്പടുകളും B. a quantity of blood, also = കുരുതിക്കളം. ചോരപ്പുഴ a river of blood ചോ. കള്‍ പോയി കൂടി ജലധിയില്‍ Bhr. ചോരപ്പോക്കു dysentery, വയററിന്നുചോ. ദീനമായി TR. ചോരമുക്കളം No. turgescence = ചോരത്തിളപ്പു. ചോരബന്ധം relationship by blood; in V1. also called ചോരമധുരം. ചോരമറിയുക to be bloodshot, കരിങ്കണ്ണു ചോ'ഞ്ഞു TP. ചോരയിളക്കം excitement, നടന്നിട്ടു ചോ.കൊ ണ്ട ഒരു കുരു ഉണ്ടായി TR.
