ńeṇṇuγa (C. നെഗ്ഗു) & ഞ — (C. നള to be mellow) 1. To become soft or mellow, malleable as gold. 2. to yield, sink. ഞെക്കുക (V1. ഞെള്‍ക്കുക = ഞെരുക്കു) 1. to press, strangle (Tu. നുക്കു). കഴുത്തു ഞെക്കുന്ന ദേ ഹരോഗം a. med. പിടിച്ചപ്പോള്‍ ഞെക്കീടാ ഞ്ഞാല്‍ prov. 2. to squeeze, crush, നഖ ത്തില്‍ ആക്കി ഞെക്കിക്കൊന്നു (a louse); to make impressions with the thumb. ഞെക്കിപ്പ ഴുപ്പിച്ച പഴം പോലെ prov.; ഞെക്കിനോക്ക.

H. ṭappāl, & തപ്പാല്‍ Post; relay of bearers. (Mahr. ടപ്പാ stage). — ട'ച്ചാവടി post-office; ട'ക്കാരന്‍ a post-man; ട'ക്കൂലി etc.

ńaṇuṇṇuγa So. (C. നഗ്ഗു) To be bulged, crushed. ഞണുക്കുക, ക്കി v. a. to bulge, to crush. ഞണുഞണുക്ക, ത്തു So. To be sticky, clammy.

ńeruṇṇuγa (T. C. Tu. Te. നെ —) To be pressed, thronged, straitened. കുടിയാ ന്മാര് ഞെരുങ്ങിപ്പോകും‍ TR. VN. ഞെരുക്കം (— രി —) straits, tightness; poverty. അരിക്കു കുറേ ഞെ'മായി, ഇവിടെ ഇരിക്ക ഞെ. തന്നേ ആകുന്നു TR. difficulty. രാത്രി പോവാന്‍ ഞെ. TR. not safe. a. v. ഞെരുക്കുക, ക്കി To press, compress, constrain, threaten. നികിതി തരേണം എന്നു ഞെരുക്കി TR. (= മുട്ടിച്ചു).— നേര്‍പറവാന്‍ ഞെ.

ńeḷḷụ = ഞളളു f.i. ഞെഴുക്കാടു N. pr. MR.

ńoḍi 1. = നൊടി Snap of fingerB V1. 2. a plant കരിഞ്ഞൊട്ടി (comp. p. 210) Samadera pentapetala, Rh. ഞൊട്ട (& നൊ —) cracking the joints of the fingers, So. ഞൊട്ട ഒടിക്ക, പൊട്ടിക്ക V2. ഞൊട്ടാഞൊടിയന്‍ see ഞെട്ടാ —.

ńāṇal (T. നാ — C. Te. fr. നാന്‍ = ന ന) A reed തീരേവാഴും ഞാ'ലില്‍ Sk. = ശരം.

ńottuγa To pull with one fruit a second (as children in play), loc. ഞൊറി So. = ഞെറി.

ńēḍu B. No. A cuff on the head. ഞേടുക v. a. So. & No. = മേടുക, id. with closed fist.

ńār̀al (MM. ഞാരല്‍കുരുന്നു, T. നാരല്‍, C. Te. നേര) Calyptranthes caryophyllifolia (C. നെരള്‍). ഞാറയുടെ വേര്‍മ്മേലേത്തൊലി GP78. ഞാറല്‍ത്തൊലി a. med. Kinds: കാട്ടു —, കിഴ ക്കന്‍ —, തെക്കന്‍ —. (No. ഞേറല്‍.) ഞാറക്കാ V1., ഞാറപ്പഴം പോലേ കറുപ്പിന്‍റെ നിറം Nid. പെരിഞ്ഞാറ Rh. Calyptranthes or Syzygoum.
