ńār̀ụ (C. T. ńaḷuṇṇuγa (ചുളങ്ങുക, നടുങ്ങു) 1. To shake from damp, fear. 2. to speak diffidently. ഞളുക്ക (C. Te. T. ചളി cold & C. നണ്‍, Tu. നണ്ട) to be affected by cold or damp. മരു ന്നു, ഉപ്പു ഞളുത്തുപോയി, so also a pen, which grows too soft for writing. VN. ഞളുപ്പു, ഞളുപ്പം dampness. ഞള്ളു = ഞെഴുക a tree (med.), the leaves of which are used in തോല്‍ കെട്ടുക.
