ńamańńi Hor., MC. & ഞമിഞ്ചി, നമിച്ചി (T. നമ, C. Te. നവ to itch?) A bivalve shell-fish, found in ricefields. — ഞ. മാം സം GP. whelk. ഞമഞ്ഞിക്ക a cockle V2. ഞമഞ്ഞിപ്പൊട്ടി V1. a bird, that lives on shellfish. ഞമിഞ്ഞി (— വു —) മുട്ട No. a spiral fresh- water snail.
