ńeviṇḍuγa (C. നിവരി, Te. നി വുരി) & ഞെമുണ്ടുക To bruise between the fingers, to squeeze, (see ഞമു —).

ńer̀i (C. Tu. നെരി) 1. Fold, tuck. 2. (T. M. നെറി) way. ദീനെ ഞെ. യായി നടത്തി Ti. = വഴിക്കേ properly. അവന്‍റെ കാര്യത്തിന്നു ന ല്ല ഞെറിയുണ്ടു = ചട്ടം, ക്രമം. ńeṇṇuγa (C. നെഗ്ഗു) & ഞ — (C. നള to be mellow) 1. To become soft or mellow, malleable as gold. 2. to yield, sink. ഞെക്കുക (V1. ഞെള്‍ക്കുക = ഞെരുക്കു) 1. to press, strangle (Tu. നുക്കു). കഴുത്തു ഞെക്കുന്ന ദേ ഹരോഗം a. med. പിടിച്ചപ്പോള്‍ ഞെക്കീടാ ഞ്ഞാല്‍ prov. 2. to squeeze, crush, നഖ ത്തില്‍ ആക്കി ഞെക്കിക്കൊന്നു (a louse); to make impressions with the thumb. ഞെക്കിപ്പ ഴുപ്പിച്ച പഴം പോലെ prov.; ഞെക്കിനോക്ക.

ട and the other linguals are hardly found as initials in Mal. words.

ńār̀al (MM. ഞാരല്‍കുരുന്നു, T. നാരല്‍, C. Te. നേര) Calyptranthes caryophyllifolia (C. നെരള്‍). ഞാറയുടെ വേര്‍മ്മേലേത്തൊലി GP78. ഞാറല്‍ത്തൊലി a. med. Kinds: കാട്ടു —, കിഴ ക്കന്‍ —, തെക്കന്‍ —. (No. ഞേറല്‍.) ഞാറക്കാ V1., ഞാറപ്പഴം പോലേ കറുപ്പിന്‍റെ നിറം Nid. പെരിഞ്ഞാറ Rh. Calyptranthes or Syzygoum.

ńāyam Tdbh., ന്യാ — 1.
