taṇaṇṇụ B. —ണു— Green cocoanut- or areca-palm-leaves കഴുങ്ങിന്‍ പാളത്ത ണ്ടു=No. മാച്ചില്‍പട്ട. തണുങ്ങ് മാച്ചില്‍=No. പട്ടമാച്ചില്‍. തണപ്പു=ദശപ്പു being fleshy.

tuḍikka T. M. (തുടു) 1. To throb, quiver. തുടിച്ചധരവും ചുവന്നു കണ്ണുകള്‍ KR. in anger. വാമക്കണ്ണു തു. ഇടന്തോളും തു. KR. (bad omen). അവള്‍ക്ക് ഇടങ്കൈ തുടിച്ചിതു. KR. (good omen). മിടററിടെച്ചൊല്‍ തുടിച്ച ശൂ൪പ്പണക RC. with a voice stifled by emotion. — VN. തുടിപ്പു V1. palpitation. 2. to splash violently, പുഴയില്‍ ഇറങ്ങിത്തു., നീന്തിത്തു. Bhg. 3. No. to protrude. തുടിച്ച അധരം a Negro lip. തുടിച്ച കണ്ണു CC. (of a toad-like demon). കണ്ണും മുഖവും കുടിക്ക to swell; കുമ്മായം തുടിച്ചിക്ക uneven plaster-work.

tāvaḍam (T. താഴ്വടം, C.Te. താവ ളം) A necklace of gold, pearls, etc. hanging very low (താഴ്). താലിക്കു മീതേ ഇത്താ. ചേര്‍ത്ത തു CG., പൊന്താവടം etc.

taṇgam T. M. 1.
