teḷikka (തെളി 4., aC. തെളല്‍ to start, set out) v. a. To drive cattle with shouts. മൂരി കളെത്തെളിച്ചു കൊണ്ടുപോയി TR. (robbers), എരുതിനെത്തെളിച്ചാക്കി, അശ്വം തെ. Nal., നീതേരും തെളിച്ചുകൊടുക്ക AR. — without Acc. തെളിയെന്നുരെത്താന്‍ RC., എടുത്തു ചമ്മട്ടി തെ ളിച്ചു സൂതനും KR. — met. തെളിച്ചതിലേ നട ക്കാഞ്ഞാല്‍ നടന്നതിലേ തെളിക്ക prov. (of education).

tammāǹ The large sail of native vessels, ത'ന്‍റെ കുട്ടി the rope that fastens it to the stern of the vessel.
