A black beetle, flying at night. പൊന്നാന്തു. a cushlady. ആനത്തുന്പി loc. a large kind of dragon-fly. തു. പറക്കുംപ്രകാരം Bhr.; (a butter-fly MC.); തു. തുളെച്ച മുള a bamboo pierced by it & sounding like an Ӕolian harp, (തു. ത്തുള). Hence: തുന്പിക്കൈ T. M. C. (po. തുന്പിക്കരം ത ന്നേ തലോടി CG.) an elephant's trunk, lit. 'the sneezing hand'. തു. യോടുളവായ പൈതല്‍ Anj. Gaṇapati. തു. ചുരുട്ടും MC.
