KU. — തുളുനാട്ടുകാര്‍ TR. തുളുനന്പി Tuḷa Brahmans, തു. യുടെ ഇല്ലത്തു KN.; also പഴന്തുളുവര്‍ KU. തുളുഭാഷ Tuḷu, one of the 18 languages. തുളുഭന്‍ പെരുമാള്‍ KU. N. pr. of a king, also തുളുരാജാ, തുളസീഭൂപന്‍ KM. തുളുവം T. M. = തുളു f. i. തുളുവനാട്ടു ഭാഗത്തില്‍ TR. — തുളുവന്‍ a Tuḷu-man. തുളുവരശായിട്ടുള്ള രാജാവു KU. the first is called മയൂരവര്‍മ്മര്‍ or കവിസിംഹരേറു; under him are 5 പ്രഭുക്കന്മാര്‍: (1. വങ്കര്‍ or പരന്പര്‍ in Nandāvara. 2. അജിലര്‍ in Muḷukki. 3. സ വിട്ടര്‍ in Mūḍabidri. 4. സാമന്തര്‍ or ചാ വന്തര്‍ in Kārkaḷa. 5. മുള്ളര്‍ or കവി in Kalyāṇapuram). കവി 222.

taṇal (തണ്‍) 1. Shade, shady spot ത. പ്പറന്പു = ചോല, മരത്തണലില്‍ ഇരിക്ക KR.; ത ണലത്തിരിക്ക.; met. വെന്തുന്ന എങ്ങള്‍ക്കു നിന്ത ണല്‍ CG. 2. shelter, protection (= നിഴല്‍) പ്രജകള്‍ക്കു ത. കൊടുത്തു TR. തണലാറുക, — ലിളെക്ക to cool oneself.

taraḷam S. (തരംഗം) 1. Tremulous. തരള ദളം a waving leaf. തരളലോചന KR., തരളാ ക്ഷി a woman with lively sparkling eyes. — shaking മതി അതിവേദനയോടെ തരളീകൃതയാ യി VCh. 2. Tdbh. = സരളം clear സത്താ യി ചിത്തായിത്തരളപരബ്രഹ്മത്തോട് ഒന്നിച്ച് അദ്വൈതമായിത്തെളിഞ്ഞു വിളങ്ങിനൊരുള്ളം KeiN 2.

tuḷaṇṇuγa T.aM.C. — v.n. Tremulous motion = തുളുന്പുക; esp. glittering (= തെ ള —), തുളങ്ങിവിളങ്ങുന്ന കണ്കളോടും RC. VN. തുളക്കം 1. shaking ചൊല്ലിനവ ഒന്നിലും ഇല്ല തുളുക്കം (sic) എനക്കു RC. = ഇളക്കം. 2. splendour തുളക്കമററരക്കര്‍ എല്ലാം RC.; also തിളക്കം Ti. v. a.തുളക്കുക, ക്കി V1. to make bright, burnish.

toḷḷa T. M. C. (തുള) 1. A hole, cavity. 2. a snare, trap തൊള്ള വെക്ക, കുടുക്കുക etc. = കണ്ണി V1. 3. the mouth. തൊ. ഇടുക to bawl, clamour. തൊ. പൊളിക്ക to make an indistinct noise with the month, (B. also to die).

taγaruγa T. M. (C. to detain) fr. ത കര്‍ T. C. Tu. Te. ram, male animal. — v. n. To be crushed, smashed മണ്കുടം പൊട്ടി ത., ഫലങ്ങള്‍ ഉടഞ്ഞു തകര്‍ന്നു Bhg., കാളകള്‍ കുത്തി തകര്‍ന്നിട്ടു ധൂളി എഴുന്നു CG. തകരന്‍ huge, powerful, as a man, boar, etc. തകരന്‍മഴ strong rain. v. a. തകര്‍ക്ക 1. To smash, crush, demolish കുംഭം തകര്‍ത്താന്‍ CC., ദ്വാരകയെ വാരിധി വന്നു തകര്‍ത്തു CG., നല്ല മതിലും കിടങ്ങും ത. SiPu 2., ശാല തകര്‍ത്തു Sah. 2. v. n. to be noisy, to play boisterously കുരങ്ങുകള്‍ ചാടി തകര്‍ക്ക PT. തകര്‍ത്ത അടി, മഴ, കലഹം a hot fray, etc. ത കര്‍ത്ത പണി എടുക്ക No. = തകൃതി to strain every nerve. ചില വര്‍ദ്ധിച്ചു ഫലങ്ങളും തകര്‍ക്കും CC. break forth in great number. VN. I. തകര്‍ച്ച breaking in pieces. II. തകര്‍പ്പു loud noise, great profusion. ശാക്തേ യത്തിന്‍റെ ത. the great day of šakti worshippers.

tarakkuγa (C. തരക്കു = തരി unsmooth) l.To deprive rice of its husk, നെല്ലു തരക്കി എടുക്ക, പച്ച നെല്ലു തരക്കി കുത്തി; തര ക്കലരി = ഉണങ്ങലരി. 2. to cut off the leaves from a cocoanut-branch ഓലക്കണ്ണി തരക്കി എ ടുത്തു. തരങ്ങുക So. to husk. മുള്ളു വടിയില്‍നിന്നു ത.
