toṇṇaǹ (Te. ദൊംഗ; Tdbh , തുംഗ?) Impudent; a rogue; worthless.

tārāduγa (see തായാടുക 2. താര്‍?, താ ലോലം) B. Palg. To caress, fondle = ആരാട്ടുക. VN. താരാട്ടം caressing, fondling.

tāval 1. S. So much, so far (യാവല്‍ — താവല്‍). താവല്‍സുതന്മാര്‍ VetC. all his sons. = അത്രയും. 2. rice beaten small താവലരി, താവല്‍ക്കഞ്ഞി V1. (താവുക 2.3; hence താര്‍ താവല്‍).

taḷir T. M. Te. aC. (S. തളുനം = തരുണം?). A bud, new leaf, shoot ഇളതായീടും ത. tur̀ikka (√ തുറു) v. n. To project, ചത്തു മിഴികള്‍ തുറിച്ചു Bhr. (also തുടിക്ക 3.); കണ്ണു തു. MR., ചിറിതു., നാവു തു. to protrude. കുത്തുകള്‍ കൊണ്ടു കുടലു തുറിക്കയും Mud. gushing out. തു റിച്ചു നോക്കു to stare. തുറിക്കണ്ണന്‍ with large projecting eyes, also തുടിക്കണ്ണന്‍. CV. തുറിപ്പിക്ക to press out, പുഴുകു ഞെക്കിത്തു' ച്ചെടുത്തു MC.

teḷikka (തെളി 4., aC. തെളല്‍ to start, set out) v. a. To drive cattle with shouts. മൂരി കളെത്തെളിച്ചു കൊണ്ടുപോയി TR. (robbers), എരുതിനെത്തെളിച്ചാക്കി, അശ്വം തെ. Nal., നീതേരും തെളിച്ചുകൊടുക്ക AR. — without Acc. തെളിയെന്നുരെത്താന്‍ RC., എടുത്തു ചമ്മട്ടി തെ ളിച്ചു സൂതനും KR. — met. തെളിച്ചതിലേ നട ക്കാഞ്ഞാല്‍ നടന്നതിലേ തെളിക്ക prov. (of education).

tēmānam M. C. Tu. (T. തേയ്മ —, fr. തേയുക) Waste from rubbing; loss in assaying metals ഗുളികത്തേമാനം TR. (of coiners); waste of goldsmith = രായിട്ടു പോകുന്നതു; wear & tear. — തേമാനപ്പെടുക to wear out by long use f. i. മോതിരം = തഴയുക; തേ'ട്ട മാര്‍ഗ്ഗം a dying-out-religion.
