nōlka T.M. (C. നോനു, Te. നോചു to vow, Tu. നോ to beat). 1. naččam (നച്ചു C. Te. T. to aim at, desire; see നഞ്ചു) & നച്ചക്കുഴല്‍, നച്ചക്കോല്‍ (ഊതിപ്പിടിക്ക) A tube to shoot birds or fishes with clay pellets, arrows, etc. (T. നച്ചുക്കോല്‍). നച്ചത്തിങ്കായി a kind of vegetable poison for fish, (നഞ്ചു) Rh. നച്ചു (T. poisonous, fr. നഞ്ചു) poison — നച്ചെ ണ്ണ Pay; met. നച്ചായിനാന്‍ അരികുലത്തി ന്നു RC. നച്ചെലി So. niγašam S. A touchstone. നി'മായി ല്ലൊരു സാധനം PT. no means to ascertain; (also falsely written നികര്‍ഷം).

naḍuγa T. M. Tu. C. 1. aM.
