(T. പാണ്ടില്‍ is bamboo, bedstead, cart). പാണ്ടിക്കുഴി 1. an ancient sepulohre. 2. the hole which receives the mast. പാണ്ടിചിഹ്നം a privilege of Tāmūri KU. (= പാണ്ടിവാദ്യം). പാണ്ടിപ്പെരുമാള്‍ a ruler mentioned among the kings of ancient Kēraḷa (പാണ്ഡ്യഭൂപാ ലന്‍ S.) KU.; his residence പാണ്ടിപ്പറന്പു. പാണ്ടിയന്‍, (hon. — യാന്‍) a South Tami/?/aǹ. — പാ'ര്‍ Tami/?/ sailors. Pay. പാണ്ടിയാലന്‍ (fr. foll.) the marabou bird MC. പാണ്ടിശാല (see പണ്ടകം) a warehouse, also കുന്പഞ്ഞിപ്പാണ്ടികശാലയില്‍ ബോധിപ്പിപ്പാന്‍ TR. and കൊപ്പരപ്പാണ്ടികശാല MR.

pu/?/uṇṇuγa T. M. (aC. to decay = പുഴുക്ക I.). 1. v. n. To be boiling, stewed, steamed ചക്ക പുഴുങ്ങിയകലം prov. — പുഴുങ്ങ ലരി rice made from parboiled Paddy (opp. ഉണങ്ങലരി). പുഴുങ്ങല്‍ചൂര്‍ Palg. the steam of wet rice-straw (smelling like boiled paddy). 2. v. a. = പുഴുക്കുക to parboil.
