miḍukkụ (T. മിടല്‍ fr. മിട?, C. Tu. miḍu to jump), Strength, activity, dexterity മി. നന്നെന്നു സ്തുതിച്ചു മല്ലന്മാരെ KR. മി. വെ ച്ചു കാട്ടില്‍ ഇരിക്ക Bhr. to retire from active life. മി. പറക V2. to boast. മിടുക്കം id., കൈമിടുക്കം activity. മിടുക്കന്‍ = മിടമന്‍ resolute, active, clever; f. മിടുക്കി B. &— ക്കത്തി. metta 5. (മെതു & മെത്തു = മൃദു). 1. A matrass, bedding, quilt അതിമനോഹരമായ മെ. യില്‍ ശയിക്ക KR. നന്മലര്‍ മെ. തന്മേല്‍ Bhr. 2. a terrace. 3. a lever = ചന്ന Palg. — അവന്‍ പത്താള്‍ക്ക് ഒരു മെ prov. (see മെ ത്തുക). മെത്തപ്പായി a double mat (made of കൈതോ ല boiled in milk & water), the upper one being much finer than the lower, So. = അ ച്ചിപ്പായി No. മെത്തശ്ശീല bedding. മെത്താരണ B. a raised place to sleep on.

muči (T. the crown of the head). The face, hence മുകം തിരിഞ്ഞ മൊച്ചിങ്ങ KU. a young cocoa-nut. (comp. മെച്ചിങ്ങ). മുച്ചിയര്‍ 5. (മുച്ചു C. Tu. cover = മൂടി) sheath-makers, stationers.
