mēyγa 5. (മെയി surface). 1. v. n. To graze, browse ആടു മേഞ്ഞ കാടു prov. ഭൂതല ത്തില്‍ മേയട്ടേ CG. കോഴി ഒന്നിച്ചു മേയു ന്പോള്‍ TR. 2. T. M. (T. C. also vēy, Tu. C. bē) v. a. to thatch a house ഓല കെട്ടി പു ല്ലു മേഞ്ഞു jud. with grass; to tile ഓടു മേ., പുര മേ. (= പുതെക്ക). VN. മേച്ചല്‍ (മേഞ്ഞല്‍) see above.
