To be pressed down, enclosed, contained. ചോറ ടങ്ങി is swallowed. വാരിധിക്കുള്ളില്‍ അടങ്ങിയ ഭൂമി Mud. enclosed by the sea. കുടയില്‍ അടങ്ങി took shelter under. മൂവര്‍ ഒരു കുടക്കീഴ് അട ങ്ങുമൊ. 2. to submit, yield, be possessed, ruled. അവള്‍അടങ്ങി yielded. കുന്പഞ്ഞിയിലേ ക്ക് അടങ്ങെണ്ട ചുങ്കം TR. (= ഇളെക്കും). നിന്നെ തിന്നാല്‍ വിശപ്പട ങ്ങും UR. മന്ദം അടങ്ങുന്ന കോപം Mud. 5. to rest, cease, be silent; ശ്വാസം അടങ്ങി died. നിന്നുടെ രൂപം സൃഷ്ടിച്ചടങ്ങി പിതാമപന്‍ എ ന്നു തോന്നീടും KR. എന്നടങ്ങി, ഉരെത്തടങ്ങും; നീ എന്തടങ്ങിനില്ക്കുന്നു KR. why standest thou silent. കേട്ടടങ്ങീടേണം listen attentively. അ ധികാരംവെച്ചടങ്ങി പാര്‍ക്ക Mud. liveretired. വി ല്ലു വെച്ചടങ്ങിയാന്‍ Bhr. gave up the job. ആ യുധങ്ങള്‍ അടങ്ങി വസിക്കുന്നു Nal. rust from peace. വാതില്‍അടങ്ങി ചാരികൊള്‍ക shut gently. അടങ്ങ Inf.
