piṭṭal No. = പുട്ടില്‍. 1. Husk, palea പി ട്ടല്‍ വിളയുന്നവ (opp. കോച്ചിലില്‍ വിളയുന്നവ). കോലും പിട്ടലും No. Palg. (പുടയും Er̀.) — പൊ ട്ടില്‍ പ്രായം (നെല്‍ 579). 2. കത്തിയും പി'ലും എടുപ്പിച്ചു scabbard of wood; also കത്തിപ്പിട്ടില്‍ Palg. — ട്ടല്‍ No. (കത്തിയുറ Er̀.)

vaṇḍụ T. M. aC. (വള്‍ round or whirling). 1.
