Refractory, perverse, obstinate; a rogue, fool ശഠന്മാരോടു ശാഠ്യം വേണം prov. ശഠത S. unruly disposition, opposition, mutinous manner, നികിതി എടുക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു പി ന്നേയും ശ. ഉണ്ടായ് വരും, ഓരോരോ വേണ്ടാ ത ശ. കള്‍ പിടിച്ചു നില്ക്കുന്നു, ശ. കള്‍ ഭാവി ക്കരുതു TR. ശ. യും ശാഠ്യവും പറഞ്ഞു TR. denV. ശഠിക്ക to behave haughtily, resist, ശണ്ഠിക്ക. ശഠോക്തി S. a taunt ഇത്തരം ശ. കള്‍ KR.
