adhikšēbam S. Blame, censure, abuse, വളരെ അ'മായവാക്കുകള്‍ MR. അതിക്ഷേപങ്ങളായിരിക്കുന്ന വാക്കുകള്‍ TR. ഇത്തരം അധിക്ഷേപവാക്കു KR. taunt. V. den. അധിക്ഷേപിക്ക to censure, revile, affront. നരപതി കോപിച്ച് അ'ച്ചു Mud. അ'ച്ചു ഭത്സിക്ക Bhr. ഭടന്മാര്‍ അ'ച്ചീടും KR. (if paid irregularly).

ambarakka (a C. അംബു fade) To be confounded, perplexed, അന്പര ന്നു നില്ക്കും KeiN. l. = വലഞ്ഞു; ചെന്പരത്തി അ'ന്നു പോകും Nal. will be ashamed, outdone in comparison with that lip. അന്പരപ്പു perplexity. അന്പരപ്പാട്ടിന്‍റെ ഇട യില്‍ Ti. in the midst of the tumult.

amlam S. Sour = പുളിരസം med. അമ്ലിക tamarind. അമ്രം better ആമ്രം mango tree (po.)

ammiṭṭam (T. നമുടു Te. C. അവുടു) The lower lip (comp. അമ്മു,) in അ. കടിക്ക mark of displeasure, perplexity, etc.

ašri S. (= അശ്രം) Edge of sword, etc.
