kumbham S. 1. Jar, pitcher, കുംഭത്തി ന്‍റെ പുറമേ പകര്‍ന്നൊരു അംഭസ്സു പോലെ kumK. (vain promises). Often compar. of breasts കുചകുംഭങ്ങള്‍ etc. A decoration of towers ഗോപുരാഗ്രഭാഗത്തേ കുംഭങ്ങള്‍ കാണാ യവന്നു Nal. പൊന്മണിക്കു. etc. 2. Aquarius, കുംഭരാശി. 3. the 11th month കുന്പമാസം also കുംഭഞ്ഞാററില്‍ (doc.), കുന്പഞ്ഞാററിക്കും വെയിലും കൊണ്ടു TP. (കുന്പവെയില്‍ is considered as peculiarly dangerous). 4. frontal globe of an elephant. 5. other protrusions, swellings, pregnancy.
