kollam T. M. (കൊലു or കൊല്ല T. high ground) 1. Quilon, former emporium of trade. kōččḍa So., Palg., No. partly. The web of cocoanut branches; (even കൊച്ചാട് V1. 2.) = കോഞ്ഞാട്ട (see below) & അരുപ്പാര, used for straining; see കൊച്ചു, കൊഞ്ചു.
