kāččuγa (T. കായ്ച്ചു Te. C. കാസു from കായി). 1. To warm, boil. വെള്ളം കാച്ചാന്‍ TR. കാച്ചിയ നീരില്‍ സേവിക്ക a med. കാച്ചിന ജലംകൊണ്ടു കുളിച്ചു VCh. കള്‍കാ. to distil. എ ണ്ണകാച്ചി എടുക്ക etc. അതിന്നു നെയി കാച്ചുവാന്‍ മരുന്നു MM. കാച്ചികുത്തുക (see കിഴി).— കാ ച്ചിയോ പഴുത്തതോ ripening or ripe? (So. കാച്ചി green paddy B.) 2. to cauterize. കേടിന്നു തക്കവാറുകാ. (in cancer). വെള്ളിക്കോല്‍ കൊണ്ടു കാ. a med. ഇരിന്പുകൊണ്ടു കാച്ചി (a snake-bite). — (loc.) to flog.
