čappa So. Palg. (vu. T. what is flattened; leanness, of S. ചര്‍പ flat, Winsl.) = ചപ്പട്ട; see ചപ്പു. ചപ്പത്തുണി etc.,— മൂരി So. Palg. inferior cloth, cattle, (prh. ചപ്പന്‍തുണി etc.?). ചപ്പമൂക്കു So. T. = ചപ്പിയ മൂക്കു q. v. ചപ്പം see ചപ്പു.

čur̀a (√ ചുറു = ചുരു) 1. A circle, coil ഇ രിന്പു ചുറക്കപ്പല്‍ an ironclad. പൊഞ്ചുറ കട്ടില്‍ TP. 2. once round ഏഴു ചുറയിട്ടു കെട്ടിയ ചൊ ക്കന്‍, ഏഴു ചുറ പൊട്ടിക്കും TP. 3. the blunt end of an arrow, etc. (ചുര 2.) ചുറയുക v. n. to turn round, to wriggle. തൊ ണ്ടയില്‍ തലനാര്‍ ചുറഞ്ഞു കിട്ടി TP. ചെക്കി പ്പൂവോടു ശൈത്താന്‍ ചുറഞ്ഞ പോലെ prov. ചുററത്തില്‍ വന്നു ചുറഞ്ഞു നിന്നീടിനാന്‍ സാരമേയന്‍ CG. (a dog). ചുറഞ്ഞവന്‍ a tortuous mind, see ചുറപ്പു. ചുറെക്ക v. a. 1. To roll up, wind up. ഇ ഴകിണ്ടിയുടെ വാലിന്മേല്‍ ചുറെച്ചു TP. തുണി ചുറെച്ചു a med. (in പുടം). നാര്‍ചുറെച്ചു മുരണ്ടി ക്കളക No. to twist into a knot. čavar̀ụ (& ചവര്‍ q.v.) 1. Green leaves & rubbish used as manure (= തുപ്പു). ചപ്പും ച വറും തിന്നു കഴികയില്ല cannot live upon nothing.
