čaṇgụ (Tdbh.; ശംഖം) 1. B. a fish. ചങ്കിടി (2) singing together, ച. പാടുക B. & ചങ്കിടിക്കാരന്‍ an assistant singer. ചങ്കിരി V2. = ശംഖുതിരി a screw.

čuṇaṇṇụ T. M. (C. Te. ചുക്കി) speck, fr. ചുണ) 1. Variegated surface, soft down as on young palm leaves; scales of fish.
