ńēṇṇōl (T. ഞാഞ്ചില്‍, M. നേ ഞ്ഞില്‍, Te. നാഗില്‍, C. നേഗില്‍, Tu. നായര്‍) 1.Plough-shaft ഞേ. നുകത്തോടു ചേര്‍ത്തു കെട്ടി (Cann.). 2. = മുസലം a weapon, prh. ploughshare, Bhg. 3. a constellation മുഴക്കോല്‍ rising in Dhanu an hour aftor sunset & indicating the time for treading the wheel previous to sowing (see ചക്രം ചവിട്ടുക).

ṭippu A little box, = ചെപ്പു, ചിമിഴ്.

ńāluγa (T. നാ —; see ഞേലു —;) To hang, swing അണ്ണാക്കില്‍ ഞാന്നു Nid. തോലും ഞാന്നുകൊണ്ടു Bhr. of an old man. വൃക്ഷശാഖ മേല്‍ കെട്ടി ഞാന്നു ചാവതിന്നായി Mud. to hang oneself. തല ഞാന്നു പോയി (half cut off). ഞാലി 1. suspended. ഞാലിക്കാതൊരുവള്‍ക്കു KR. hanging ear. 2. a hanging tendril of the pepper-or betel-vine കൊടിയുടെ ഞാലി ഇടിച്ചു പിഴിഞ്ഞ നീര്‍ a. med. — also a branchroot. 3. the common betel-vine; കൊടിഞ്ഞാലി (p. 302) വെററില No. a kind trained on trees. 4. B. ornament for a sword-hilt. 5. = ഞാലിപ്പൂട്ടു, see തുലാം. ഞാലികൂത്തു a meritorious Royal amusement. ഞാലിക്കൊടി No. a betel-vine let down occasionally for the leaves to be picked off. ഞാലി (& ഞേ —) ത്തല = ഞാലി 2. of pepper-vine (cut & planted). ഞാലിപ്പൂട്ടു the weight-apparatus of the watering machine B. ńel/?/iyuγa (Te. C. നീലുഗു, നിഗ്ഗു from നെടു, നിള്‍) To stretch oneself, to strut, ഞെളിഞ്ഞു നടക്ക to walk affectedly, proudly. ആരും സമം ഇല്ല എന്നു ഞെളിഞ്ഞീടും Sah. ശി ഷ്ടപാലകന്‍ എന്നു ഭാവിച്ചിട്ട് ഒട്ടുമേ ഞെളിയേ ണ്ട കൃഷ്ണ SG. ഇന്നേറ ഞെ. Bhr. how proud today! VN. ഞെളിവു overbearance അവളുടെ ഞെ'൦ ഗ ൪വ്വവും വളര്‍ന്നു KR., ഞെളിവരുതു സഭനടു വില്‍ SiPu., ഞെളിവും വെണ്മയും ഇളെച്ചു Bhr.; also ഞെളിച്ചല്‍. ഞെളിയന്‍ V1. = അഹങ്കാരി. ഞെളിക്ക B. To bend the body backwards.

ńār̀ụ (C. T. Te. നാറു, Tu. നേജി) 1. = നാറു What rises above ground, young plant fit for transplanting. ഞാര്‍ പെയ്ക, ഇടുക, പാകുക to sow, നടുക to transplant them. ഞാര്‍ ആററി പോയി thrives. ൩ കണ്ടം ഞാറ ഉഴുതു നഷ്ടം വരുത്തി ഞാറ പറിച്ചു ഉഭയത്തില്‍ ചിന്തി MR. 2. = ഞായറു as കന്നിഞാററില്‍ TR. ńēluγa (C. Tu. നേ —, C. ജോലു) To hang as an ornament, to be dejected, ഞേന്നു മരിക്ക = ഞാന്നു; കക്കുവാന്‍ പഠിച്ചാല്‍ ഞേലു വാന്‍ പഠിക്കെണം prov. v. a. ഞേത്തുക, better ഞേററുക To let dangle, as a ചെണ്ടു tassel. കുട്ടിയെ ഞേത്തി ക്കൊണ്ടു നടക്ക to carry negligently. മുണ്ടു ഞാ ത്തി (So.) or ഞേത്തി (No.) ഉടുക്ക to wear the cloth down to the ankles. ഞേററം, vu. — ത്തം ornamental hangings (= ഞാലി). ഞേറല്‍ No. = ഞാറല്‍ ഞൊങ്കു = ചൊങ്കു, 2. a crooked hand. ഞൊങ്ങണം see നൊ —.
